How to Be a Likeable Badass: April 22, 12-1 pm PT
You’re invited to a WOW Virtual Event where we will discuss the main lessons from Alison Fragale’s book, “Likeable Badass: How Women Get the Success They Deserve” and how to apply them. It is recommended – but not required – that you read the book prior to the session.
We will start with a brief summary of the book and quickly delve into the main lessons of why and how to be both likeable (warm) and a badass (assertive). We will review strategies and tactics deployed by likeable badasses described in the book – and add examples from our own lives.
One of the core principles in Dr. Fragale’s book is “add, do not subtract”. It means that if you are naturally assertive, you should not try to be less assertive (subtract) but instead be more warm (add). If you are naturally warm, you should not subtract from your warmth but instead add assertiveness. We will discuss strategies for how to “add warmth” or “add assertiveness” so that everyone gains practical new insights that you can apply immediately to increase your status and get the success you deserve.
This workshop will be facilitated by Elena Krasnoperova and Patricia Bothwell.
